I would not say he was worth the money, but he did complete the Munich team. Sometimes it is worth spending over the odds to get the final piece. Though I dare say with Gustavo, they may have done just as well this season, if not as spectacularly. we have to reduce debts, no money for spending. I don´t rate Santana either (not only because he is a Dortmund player). His signing is maybe a hint, that Papadopoulos will leave. Otherwise they would be no place for Santana in the CB.

Yeh it must mean Papdopoulos is off or as you said there will be no place for Santana. Next season there will be more interest in the Bundesliga. People will want to see the rematch of the champions league final. This could in time increase TV revenue. I cannot imagine SKY are going to be happy to miss that match. Draxler is a big favourite of mine. He reminds me of a young Cristiano Ronaldo, but he scores more goals.

He has been superb tbf, no fuss, no showing off, but he does his job brilliantly. Heynckes said "Martinez is the final piece in the jigsaw, get him whatever it takes".
And he was right, an inspired buy, a fantstic player.
