Yesterday before the watching the final on tv, I went down to Aachen too see them against Stuttgart II. They won 4:2 and got relegated. I was a bit confused as nobody was really crying or even looked that sad. What's been said in German papers (if anything)?

i think, they were already relegated before. And with their financial situation they are happy to survive at all in the next weeks.

in other news:

1.FC Kaiserslautern has qualified fot the promotion play-off match to the Bundesliga

St Pauli (with coach Michael Frontzeck) stays in Bundesliga 2 as VfL Bochum.

Thomas Schaaf had to leave Werder Bremen after 14 years as coach and more than 40 years in the club starting as player and youth coach. Only Otto Rehagel (Werder Bremen) and Volker Finke (SC Freiburg) had been longer in office than him in Bundesliga history.

Borussia Dortmund is reported to have made an agreement with Kevin de Bruyne (Chelsea) and contacted Ajax for Christian Eriksen. They are also watching Jackson Martinez (Porto) and Christian Benteke (Villa)

After 4.9 Million and 6.6 Million Euro in previous seasons Hamburger SV is now expecting a record breaking financial loss of about 24 Million Euro. Transfers of Dennis Aogo and Heung-Min Son to be expected.

Oh wow, Dortmund really aren't kidding around eh? Imagine if they manage to get those players. De Bryune and Eriksen especially.

Amazing last day of the season. Some new rule decreed that Bayern's defence had to sleep through the first 10 minutes in Gladbach and suddenly we're 3-1 down. Then inspired by a superb display from Ribery we roar back to win 3-4.
Hoffenheim look down and out 1-0 down in Dortmund until two late penalties put them 1-2 in front. Then they survive a last minute disallowed goal to amazingly survive the drop and reach the relegation play off and relegate Düsseldorf !

I was proven wrong on several accounts: Augsburg actually secured survival and finished above poor Düsseldorf - and so did Ho§§enheim, which should never ever have happened really. I don't blame Dortmund, they played alright.

Full credit to Leverscum who denied Hamburg with nothing really to play for. Fair play to Hannover (who had nothing to play for as well) and Fürth.

I don't like Kaiserslautern, but I hope they'll see off Ho$$enheim in the play off / play down encounter.

Sad day for Darmstadt 98 (relegated from the 3. Liga).

I see German fans are just as bad as the English for calling rival clubs stupid names.

Schalke won the final for CL qualification at Freiburg 2-1 thanks to another individual effort by Julian Draxler and a very unlucky own goal by Freiburg. Freiburg plays EL, also Eintracht Frankfurt (Bembeltown´s in a coma).
Stephan Kießling is Bundesliga´s top scorer with 25 goals, ahead of Robert Lewandowski (24)

Hey Bayern Blade I hope Bayern is better than Hoffenheim ;o)

May Munich win in Saturdays Final of Shame
