Klopp's ability to transform a player from a good talent to a world class players is ridiculous. When Dortmund bought Gundogan from Nuremburg to replace Sahin, it was like signing Schneiderlin to replace Yaya Toure. But now Gundogan is 3 times the player Sahin is and probably one of the 3 best deep lying midfielders in the world.

It's important not to underestimate the boost you get when you have 80k people supporting you with all their lives, too. I think playing at that stadium helps an awful lot and is hugely intimidating to visitors

That stadium is pretty impressive.

-- Sat Jul 27, 2013 8:26 pm --

But why didn't Pep play Martinez, Martinez was the difference between a treble losing Bayern and a treble winning Bayern.

Schweinsteiger didn't play first half did he??

The Arsenal game at home when they nearly got knocked out of the CL proved why Schweinsteiger is so important to Bayern.

He's who we should be going for next summer to replace Yaya without a shadow of a doubt. All the talk was supposedly of him to Real Madrid to succeed Alonso, but they've bought Illaramendi so perhaps they won't bother. By next summer we shouldn't need to be buying 4-5 players, we should be looking at 1 or 2 of the highest possible quality additions to knock the side up another level.

What decided that a one-off cup game would be played at one of the competing teams grounds, and not neutral venue?

Madness isn't it, it's like when the Copa Del Rey final was played at the Bernabeu last season when Madrid got beat by Atletico.

Can you imagine us having to go and win the FA Cup away to United at The Swamp??

It's difficult enough at Wembley.

Nah he came at the end of the second half.
