Podolski will always be in the squad, even if he would play for Didsbury...

The german team is much about loyalty, not so much on current form

Didsbury? What about Chorlton?

Well didnt you know that us Germans are addicted with Didsbury? :)

Lol :)

It is transfer time

Lucas Barrios from Borussia Dortmund to Guangzhou (10 Mil. Euros)
Germany U19 talent Leon Bittencourt from Energie Cottbus to Borussia Dortmund (3 Mill. E.)
Michael Ballack leaving germany, possibly to the U.S.
former german Keeper Rene Adler from Leverkusen to Hamburger SV
Striker Eren Derdiyok from Leverkusen to Hoffenheim (5,5 Mill Euros)
Striker Ivica Olic from Bayern to Wolfsburg
Swiss Talent Xherdan Shaquiri from FC Basel to Bayern (11,6 Mill. Euros)
German U21 keeper Kevin Trapp from K´lautern to Eintracht Frankfurt
Mladen Petric leaving Hamburg, no new club yet
Lukas Podolski from FC Köln to Arsenal
Marko Marin from Werder to Chelsea
Germany´s no.2 Keeper Tim Wiese from Werder to Hoffenheim
Raul leaving Schalke (rumours about a 40 million Euro contract with Quatar for two years of football and eight years as a world cup ambassador, still some clubs in the U.S also hope to make a contract with him)
Marco Reus leaving Gladbach to Dortmund (for 17 million Euros)
Roman Neustädter leaving Gladbach to Schalke
Dante leaving Gladbach to Bayern (4,7 million Euros)

The future of Diego (Athletico Madrid/Wolfsburg) and Claudio Pizarro (Werder) still uncertain.
Jefferson Farfan signed a new contract with Schalke, so did Arjen Robben with Bayern

Well, Gladbach and Werder are falling apart a little bit and 1899 Hoffenheim is changing it´s transfer policy again, this time to spending.

All of their players got in the focus of other clubs after their brilliant season.
They have 17 million Euros fom the Reus transfer and CL-money to spend, but i think a lot of players are reluctant and think, they are not more than a one hit wonder

Didn't Gladbach survive a relegation play off a couple of seasons back?
