Watched the Bayern game. They really have so many options it is scary. Dante a bit rusty and just do no trust Boateng at the back, but apart from that brilliant. Mandzukic's third goal was a great team move. Robben for me is the third best player in the world and even more dangerous he has stopped being selfish. Last year they had quality in the first team, but no options of the bench if things were going badly. Now they have quality everywhere. Robben picked up a knock, but Shaqiri or Muller can come into replace him. I fancy them or Madrid to win the CL this year.

Bayern 3 - Wolfsburg 0 att. 71,000 (sold out)
Schweinsteiger, Mandzukic (2)
Volkswagen in 16 years one draw at Bayern. Don´t know, why they play their at all.

Schalke 3 - Mainz 0 att. 59, 116
Farfan, Holtby, Pukki
"The Carnival club" really helpless at the front, though Schalke was poor.

Greuther Fürth 0 - Fortuna Düsseldorf 2 att 16, 573
x - Fink, Ilsö
"The Cloverleafs" not fit for their first Bundesliga season so far

Eintracht Frankfurt 3 - Borussia Dortmund 3 att 51, 500 (sold out)
Aigner, Inui, Anderson - Piszczek, Reus, Götze
Brilliant match. Eintracht was down 0-2 and 2-3. BVB shaky at their back this season, Hummels far from his form of the last two seasons, so are Schmelzer and Weidenfeller. City should really capitalize on that.

Sounds like Dortmund's season is scarily similar to ours at the moment. Misfiring, defences not as tight as they have been, not as fluent. I think next week will be a case of which team is worse than the other.

Hummels thinks he is a forward - not a defender.

That is the first part of the table right now - so there is still some matches tonight. But the best of it could just reach 10 points.

rank / club / goals / goal difference / points
1 Bayern München 17:2 +15 15
2 Eintracht Frankfurt (N) 14:7 +7 13
3 FC Schalke 04 10:5 +5 10
4 Fortuna Düsseldorf (N) 4:0 +4 9
5 Borussia Dortmund (M, P) 11:8 +3 8
6 Hannover 96 10:7 +3 7

Goals in the Bundesliga:

1 Mandzukic, Mario Bayern München 5 games / 5 goals
2 Müller, Thomas Bayern München 4 games / 5 goals
3 Aigner, Stefan Eintracht Frankfurt
Holtby, Lewis FC Schalke 04
Inui, Takashi Eintracht Frankfurt
Kroos, Toni Bayern München
Schweinsteiger, Bastian
all with 5 games / 3 goals
Son, Heung-Min Hamburger SV 4 games / 3 goals

Scorerpoints (Goals and Assists):

1 Müller, Thomas Bayern München
4 games / 4 goals / 4 assists / 8 scorerpoints
2 Huszti, Szabolcs Hannover 96
3 games / 2 goals / 5 assists / 7 scorerpoints
3 Inui, Takashi Eintracht Frankfurt
5 games / 3 goals / 3 assists / 6 scorerpoints
Mandzukic, Mario Bayern München
5 games / 5 goals / 1 assist / 6 scorerpoints
5 Kiyotake, Hiroshi 1. FC Nürnberg
4 games / 1 goals / 4 assists / 5 scorerpoints

------------------

The most special at Bayern right now is that Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery have not taken too much part in the scorer lists by now - and Gomez is still missing. The last 3 years it always was dominated by Ribery, Robben, Müller and Gomez in different rankings. There is Mandzukic with 5, Müller with 4, Kroos and Schweinsteiger with 3 and Luis Gustavo with 1 goal (1 own goal). And it is 4 assists bei Müller, 2 by Robben and Lahm - and then 9 others (including Ribery and Shaqiri) with one assist. I just wanted to emphasize your " They really have so many options it is scary"-comment. Yes - before they did too much with the two wingers - and tried to make everything that they worked. Now it seems that they try to have more options. You even see goals in all kind of variations - individual efforts and combinations, goals after crosses, dribblings, goals from long range... - everything is less predictable.

And the most difficult will be to get all players in a good rotation so that they stay motivated, that it is a healthy fight, that the team stays intact and that nobody feels wrong treated.

Stuttgart losing 3-0 at home to Hoffenheim. Labbadia to get the sack soon, he hasn't really done well anywhere as a manager.

Too soon. There is a couple of clubs that have starting problems. They made the first round into the cup. And he qualified for the Europe League with Stuttgart last year, they won the qualification round and even if they did not win the first match at least they drew.

Two draws in the Bundesliag and three losses, one of it against Bayern, is not enough for it.

Still buzzing...such an incredible comeback after going 2-0 down.

Amazing atmosphere and I still feel like waking up every second, check the table and see us fighting to stay up. Better not wake up anytime soon...;)

Dortmunds defense is really a shadow of its former self and I predict that it will crumble under City´s firepower. Unless Klopp manages to get them back into shape real quick....

Its fun to see how "media darling" Klopp starts to show his "ugly side" more and more...Got banned once again by the refs.
