Guys like you are realy the problem in modern football. You realy belief what you are saying, sad thing.

If you have a problem with Viagogo selling kürve tickets at Bayern for 15 euros then YOU are the one who is a blinkered fool, how cheap do you want them to sell it ffs ?
Or would you rather pay a tout or some money grabber on ebay 50 euros for the same ticket ?
You are just another whining teenage/early 20's hypocrite by the sound of it. Has it occured to you either that the likes of the moronic ultras and hooligans are pushing prices up because of the clubs passing on the extra charges that policing them entails ?

I think you have to distinguish between clubs with viagogo as an official ticket partner and clubs without this partnership.

I think that Viagogo is not a official partner of Dortmund. That's why 'normal' people or viagogo itself can charge exorbitant prices. Viagogo itself acts like a tout! They're also trying to 'hire' supporter clubs in order to get their tickets and sell them on viagogo on own business. That's an fact! There's a documentary on youtube and supporter clubs who can confirm this behaviour!

For Bayern it's some kind of different case. People can sell their ticket for Bayern home games on viagogo for face value and viagogo charges a fee. It's absolutely clear, that viagogo also wants to make profit, so most of us would consider this fee as ok...

BUT! On the other hand 'normal' people or viagogo can sell tickets for away games (in the away sector!) for exorbitant prices on the same plattform.

Bayern supporters criticized this issue since the beginning of the partnership between viagogo and Bayern several years ago. Nothing changed.
Last year Bayern supporters forced the management board to end their partnership with viagogo and launch an own fan-friendly system. The contract runs out at the end of season 2013/14.

I personally don't buy and sell tickets on viagogo. It's just a company which should not be supported by fans. But I understand that's the only way to get tickets for most people...

its fantastic that you germans are making a stand regarding ticket prices, do not end up like the premier leage where most of the working classes can no longer afford to go and its only a game for the rich middle classes. the german league is fantastic :)

I sell my season ticket (südkurve) when I can't get to Munich, I get 7 euros and they sell it for 15, I find that fair. I get my money back and a fan gets a ticket for a good price.
What other clubs do is not my affair.

Forget other clubs concentrate on viagogo.
If you want to buy a ticket for Dortmund against Bayern in the sector of Bayern fans you can find offers on viagogo starting at 339,39€ (without fees...) for a standing ticket...

I'm living in Munich and if I can't join a game, I hand my seasonticket to some other supporter for 7€.
But I understand that this might not be easy/possible for fans not living in Munich.

By the way: 15€ is not 100% correct. The one who buys 'your' ticket has to pay about 30€ including fees in the end and might be a fan of the other club ;-)

How do you Germans rate Holtby, Draxler, Fuchs, Herrmann, and Harnik? I have been watching a lot of Bundesliga this year and besides the obvious candidates at Bayern and BVB, these players really impress me and some of them I'd love to see at City... especially as some of them are so quick and skillful, something our squad is painfully lacking. Draxler looked amazing at weekend against Gladbach.

Well what exactly do you want to know?

As you mentioned they are all pretty good players and Harnik more or less carries the whole Stuttgart team on his own.

Holtby can be a bit hit and miss, sometimes he is awesome and then on other days he seems to take a day off. His father is english btw, but unfortunately Evertonian. In the past Holtby mentioned that he fancies a transfer to a PL club, but I am pretty sure that he will end up at Everton, beeing an Everton fan himself.

Draxler is a huuuuge talent and will be one of the future Bundesliga stars if he stays injury free. Seems to be a very humble player as well who is pretty down to earth. Steevens told him preseason that he lost his "puppy status" and will now be measured like the older, more established players. Obviously the added pressure didnt hurt his performances. :)

Herrmann became a regular at Gladbach last year and had a really great season. This year he proved that he can deliver consistently and last season was not just a one time experience.

Holtby, Draxler and Herrmann all play in the U21 team, so they belong to the continous stream of talents that we seem to get at the moment.

However they are a bit overshadowed by the hype around Götze and Reus, which is not necessarily a bad thing considering the attention those two get at the moment.

Thanks. I just wanted the perspective of someone who is more in tune with the Bundesliga as I rely on the highlight shows a lot, but have been watching more live games.

Draxler looked amazing like I said, I remember recently the Daily Mirror said we were interested in him but they say we're interested in everyone. He seems so mature and composed for his age, and looks like he could be a top player. How strong would Schalke be if someone like Bayern or City put a €20million offer on the table for him?

I have also been impressed by Fuchs at Schalke, he is an assists machine from left-back with fantastic crossing ability like a Bundesliga version of Leighton Baines.

Fuchs can be quite good going foward but very often he a is defensive liability against decent attacks.
Harnik is quite talented, can be incredible at times but not that consistent. He's extremely important for a midtable club like Stuttgart but nowhere near the level of quality a club like city is looking for.
Draxler is playing very well and seems to be quite mature for someone his age. Looks very promising, but as with any youngster, only time can tell how he'll turn out in the end.
Schalke's finances aren't the best so if they miss CL they might let him go if they get a very good offer.
