Wrong decision but Dortmund's first goal was offside and the second was never a penalty so they can't complain.
The title race looks over, Bayern are running away with it.

Yeah they only had to play with one man down for 60 minutes. No biggy.

Point is they went 1-0 up due to an offside goal on 6 minutes, if the ref had disallowed it as he should have the game would have gone completely differently.
You win some you lose some.

Shouldn't the "mentality monsters" be able to cope with situations like this - especially when it is just against a team like today's Wolfsburg...

Well Bayern should have beaten Chelsea easily in last years final as well...sometimes stuff just doesnt work as it looks on paper.

Bembel, i´m quite surprised how well Armin Veh is doing with Eintracht Frankfurt. I had some doubts about his quality, but so far he has done a great job. Hope you don´t have a sellout like Gladbach at the end of the season.

I see dortmund lost. I was very impressed with dortmund in the champions league. Do you think they are putting all their eggs in one basket?

Bundesliga is a bit boring this season. Not only Bayern running away at the top, i also can´t remember three teams at the bottom so far behind at half time of the season. I think, Borussia has a problem to concentrate on that league routine after two championships. With some luck in the drawings they will go for the cups in the end.

Well, i guess you had a nice day on the other side of the big divide :_)

They were a bit unlucky, so unlucky that the referee apologised to them for fooking up with the game-changing decision (can you imagine an English ref doing this?). However the result stands and as it is, they are only in the third CL qualifying place on goal difference with only 6pts between them and 11th. They have definitely suffered from their strong efforts in the CL.

Guess its not just you beeing suprised. I still think I am dreaming.....

Veh definitely has his qualities, otherwise he wouldnt have been able to win the league with Stuttgart, but I was not sure myself if he would fit Frankfurt.

He often comes across as a bit arrogant or grumpy, but I think he just has a concept which he follows.

This is on one hand a great thing, simply because he seems to love playing attacking football and even managed to build a team that is capable of doing it with the limited resources we have.

On the other hand he clearly stated that he has come to Frankfurt to slowly build something up and that he is not here to see the core of "his" team be sold at the end of the season.

And thats something which worries me as some of our young players like Rode, Trapp and Jung might become targets for bigger clubs.

Giving them a perspective on beeing able to play european football is something which might be able to keep them at Frankfurt. Even though I personally think that european football would be a bit too early for us.
The core part of our team is pretty decent, however we still lack a classy striker, some more depth in defense and in general more depth.

Guess everybody could see versus Mainz and Düsseldorf what happens if players from our core team are injured or need to sit out due to yellows/red...

Once we have collected 40 points I am more than happy and whatever comes after that is just a bonus. Be it playing in Europe or ending up somewhere midfield...

Was a great day out however I preferred the hospitality from schalke fans. Dortmund have a cracking stadium and look like a decent team. Having said that schalke ripped arsenal to peices.
