Bundesliga Thread | 2024/25

InHow are all our resident Germans doing? This thread has been a bit quiet lately.
Some have gone missing in lower leagues away from The Bundesliga limelight. However
2. Liga is not too bad with a couple of big Clubs with a huge following. Despite their miserable form and below par results recently Cologne took more 15.000 to Berlin Yesterday. FC managed to keep a Clean Sheet, scored 1 and got a much needed win.

DFB-Pokal third round Draw:
Bayern Munich v Leverscum
Leipzig v Frankfurt
Wolfsburg v Hoffenheim
Cologne v Hertha Berlin
Bielefeld v Freiburg
Karlsruhe v Augsburg
Regensburg v Stuttgart
Bremen v Darmstadt

To be played on Tue/Wed dec 3rd/4th

Bloody hell that's an open draw. The top two ties get rid of two of the favourites. Chance of an outsider making real progress.

That’s a league 2 game?
Fuck me that’s impressive

Currently en route to Offenbach-Karlsruhe for the next installment of following the winner all the way to Berlin
Whisper it quietly but I'm secretly hoping for an away win.
Nothing personal but after seeing Offenbach despose of Magdeburg in the previous round I'm not sure I could cope with three trips
I remember "Kickers Offenbach" from the 70s, great name !. Are they nakung a come back ?.

Bayern play Donezk in the CL and Donezk is playing their home games at Schalke due to the ongoing war.

After dramatically increasing the prizes for away fans to 105 Euro (seat) and 52 Euro (standing) Ultras Munich have asked Bayern fans to boycott the away fixture to protest against those prices. Within a couple of hours 35000 tickets have been cancelled.

This is the power of German football fans. In this country, we repeatedly and continuously bend over and accept everything that is thrown our way.

I was thinking about this last night when everyone around me was complaining about being kept inside after the game

Now I'm as guilty as anyone for laughing at the fate of other English clubs so I found it really funny when hundreds of rags missed the kick off at Galatasaray last season after being messed around by the local Police

However I was wrong and if it happened once to a German club then I'm pretty certain that something would be done to ensure that it never happened again.
Otherwise they would just boycott the fixture

Bayern just equalised against Dortmund, I am with the German rags whilst Vinny is at the helm.
