Burnley (A) | Post Match Thread

Just back now good day out at the six finger lizards

few drunken obervarions.

city fans great but can we sing about current players please
ake played really well
sterling was free all game in loads of space
professsional performance from the boys but part of me thinks we could have improved our goal difference with only a little more desire.
burnley are shit.

If that happens then Liverpool deserve it. Look we didn’t get the striker we needed over the summer we got the skilful midfielder to replace our current crop 1 to 2 years from now but we are looking at getting Haaland for next season. The result is a season where we control virtually every game creating numerous chances before putting any into the back of the net. Despite that we are in pole position to win up to 3 pots, not bad I say.

The point I am trying to make is as fans we sometimes get obsessed with the present and lose sight of the big picture which is the next 2 or 3 seasons. I for one think Pep is about to assemble the greatest team to ever grace this land, and you never know he might do that AFTER winning the treble THIS season.
Sometimes you need to take a step back to take two forward, but the thought of Liverpool Hoovering up trophies is vomit inducing

I don’t disagree with with you, but no way on earth will Grealish be a better midfielder than, Silva, Bernardo, De Bruyne, Gundogan or for that matter Foden.

There is always the possibility that Grealish is the bullet we didn’t dodge?

I went today, great vocal support from the travelling blues as always. As for the game very dominant, professional performance only real criticism was it should have been 4 or 5 considering the opportunities we had on the break, just the final cross or shot letting us down. Sterling was very good today and hopefully he can continue in this form for the rest of the season.

Good start to a big week.

I listened to the game on the OS commentary, you were loud and clear all game.

Good 3 points and hopefully sends us into next week full of confidence. I can‘t believe the number of doubters on here who still like to pull us apart. Have faith in Pep and all the lads. Get behind the team particularly when we play that horrible lot next Sunday.

We have already that bullet, Mangala!
