This is going to be a battle and a half and I can see both sides scoring. They will be playing with freedom now they're safe which still makes them dangerous. 2-1 City with this team :

Ederson

Walker
Zinchenko
Stones
Laporte

Gundogan

D.Silva
B.Silva
Sterling
Sane

Aguero

Subs: Muric, Danilo, Kompany, Mahrez, Foden, Jesus, Fernandinho?
Rather nico to john, him and eric looked like strangers the other day

This isn't going to be an easy game. They'll be right up for it.

The midfield will be gundogan in the pivot, David and bernardo supporting sane, sterling and aguero...if Burnley can hold that front 5 then fair play... they won't thoigh, another 2-0

This Burnley side is poor and will resort to parking the bus and time wasting from the start.
Burnley received a yellow card for time wasting against Chelsea in the 32nd minute of the first half!

Chelsea should have easily beaten Burnley last week.
Unlike Chelsea, City are clinical in the final third and should comfortably win by 3 or more!

Although last nights game was very stressful, Burnley is going to be a harder game to win.Getting a result versus us will be a right feather in Dyches cap and his way to have a say in the title race, they will probably timewaste from the off, pack the defence, push/pull/kick,try to get free kicks etc to lob the ball into our box and any other tactic to spoil our game.We must be patient, keep the ball, play our usual game and do not give them a sniff, got a feeling we will need to score at least two goals. Dont think I could take it if we entered the last 5/10 mins drawing or just one up, having said all that they might try to play football now they are safe. Anyway, really hope we are comfortable by halftime and that we get no injuries, but ANY KIND OF WIN will do. Just imagine, the dippers will have to go to Barca and then Newcastle knowing they are behind on points. Bring it on.

Fairly certain this will be the tactical plan announced by Pep and the coaching staff at the customary pre-match video review meeting with the players.

He will likely also add these specific instructions he got off Danny Murphy at a sport science clinic he recently attended:

Leave a boot in every now and then; let ‘em know you’re there!
Haha funny post

If we win this one I think all of a sudden our games look easier than theirs
They have two extra mAtches v Barca as well
For me this is the last big test......till Leicester!

Given previous form, we should be winning these last 3 games, at a canter. But given the time in the season, they were
always going to be more difficult than usual. Still expecting 9 points and will be gobsmacked if we don't get them.

Ederson Walker Stones Laporte Mendy Fernandinho Silva Bernardo Sane Sterling Aguero

If Dinho isn't fit enough to start then Gundogan in his place

Hi Guys

First of all Congrats for the Tottenham & utd win, the league is now 90% - 10% in your favour imho, I m even tempted to say 95%.

The Burnley game wont be easy but you will win it in a similar fashion to the palace game.

If we dont drop points and somehow Cardiff and Brighton manage to go into the last game with 1-3 points difference with lets say the latter needing only one point , the Brighton game will be the hardest from citys remaining 3 , god watching that game week 38 will be epic.

Best of luck guys.

Thanks. The Utd game was huge. I was very nervous about that one. In the end we won comfortably but only I think because we made a big effort in the 1st half to physically match Utd and in the 2nd we showed a lot of quality.

I am sure liverpool will beat Huddersfield tomorrow so the pressure once again will be on City to respond. I think this is the key game. Win that one and I think Liverpool may struggle at Newcastle to respond.

I don't want it to go to the last game but if it does then so be it. I remember the last day against QPR in 2012. Everyon thought it would be routine but it turned into what looked like a total nightmare of a game. That season there were some amazing twists that nobody expected. This season City and Liverpool just keep winning.

Zinchenko's a dark horse when it comes to winning headers. Much better at them than he probably should be for a player of his height. I haven't really noticed Mendy's aerial ability tbh but I can't imagine there's much to choose between the two.

In that case, a 0-0 draw would be a very good result.
Can't agree with that mate, we need to win this. Can't be handing the initiative back over to Liverpool at this stage of the season.

last year Burnley proven that they can battle with City. They'll be nowt grand about this game. It'll be scrappy and attritional at best. Here's hoping we're ready for it

You must have watched different games. We walloped them twice at home (once in the Cup) and would have done so at Turf Moor but for Raheem missing a sitter on par with Morrison's (something he would score with his eye's closed today).
