Just like i said in another thread

He already knows, the guy as smart like him will know the state of the club (Burnley) before taking the job yet he taking it anyway knowing full well it will be difficult.

I think he is seeking challenge, taking the hardest possible Job just like he did back then with Anderlecth and now with Burnley.

We need to respect his decision, taking a hard job like this is insane decision and he is willing to risk his reputation if he fails. I respect his willingness to not take the easiest way possible for learning managerial curve.

Bloody hell we know he has balls of steel. I thought if they stayed up there was a possibility but the Championship is a very tough gig. Maybe reasons outside football why he would want back to the Manchester area. I wish him all the best in the world.

That’s some challenge he’s taking on. Pep has always said he’ll never forget the nine clubs that wrote a letter to the prem regarding City’s FFP case. I hope Vinnie isn’t expecting any of our academy lads, they can fuck off.

I think there is more chance of Burnley going down again next season than getting promoted.....in fact I can't see them back in the Prem for years, whoever their manager is.

Seems like a mental decision, they'll spend no money, have a terrible squad with many leaving, the few decent players they have will be sold to Premier league teams and the money will not be reinvested, they have Dyche's football ingrained into the club which isn't how Vinny wants to play, I see nothing but a disaster waiting for him, they'll have expectations to come straight back up when they'll be looking below rather than above. Hopefully we help him out with a few loans, Delap could work for them if they sell Weghoust.
