I know in the grand scheme of things a point wouldn't have been much better, but has anyone mentioned the nailed on penalty we didn't get ?

Mariner at his best, Zab first to the ball, gets a touch, then is clattered, free kick Burnley, I despair, well I would if it wasn't so consistent.

this.. we need to stop being so nice in the media. call out these things when warranted.

Not wanting to panic anyone but I can see us getting beat at Old Trafford & the rags finishing above us.

Personally I think Pellegrini was told from the outset that CL is more important than the league this season and if he doesn't progress he's out. That performance smacked of a team who were saving themselves for midweek - that explains Silva for Jovetic too.

Go through on Wednesday SOMEHOW and this will be soon forgotten. Or if Chelsea get beat tomorrow. It's hard to see either happening but the margins in football are SO FINE - Silva should have put us 1-0 today & on another day we would have scraped the win.

Not a huge fan of Pellegrini and his tactic (yep tactic) but tonight that was all about the players. We seem to be getting outworked in every game and getting the results we deserve. We have to blow Barcelona away on Wednesday now but quite frankly their seems to be a lethargy throughout the club. As fans we seem to struggle to raise the enthusiasm and now the players seem to have caught the same disease. Very,very strange and inexplicable.

Spot on mate. No atmosphere at big champions league nights, fans turning up just expecting us to win, can't sell out at home. Loads of people leave early to miss the traffic.

7 years ago I would have given my right testee to be where we are now. COME ON CITY!

I'm that pissed off with the performance that I can't even be bothered to get angry about it. Yes; it was a penalty. No guarantee we'd have scored it though, the way things panned out tonight.
