They enjoy coital relations with their cousins?

Don't think they have been fooled mate and I don't think it's a purchase to try and break into the Top 6 or the like (the risk vs reward doesn't really stack up in my head unless I am unaware of some uncorked pot of gold).
Just another firm step in the direction of eradicating relegation to stabilise their and their fellow Americans investments I would imagine...........
i’m from burnley obv & most of my mates are burnley fans i’m happy for them, a well run profitable club with no debt was bound to attract investment sooner rather than later, interesting how much money becomes available for new players? thats where the struggles start how do you sell burnley as an attractive move?!!!
Someone may know better than me but I can't see why their running costs are so high against thei revenue?maybe the premier league could become a closed shop without relegation and promotion ? maybe a controlling board to view how clubs in the bottom 2 or 3 can be demoted if your not bringing something to the table i.e (money)
if your buying a football club a premier league club (burnley) then £200million is about the cheapest you can get right now. will there be a big money injection i don't think so at the moment. can burnley become a top 6 club i don't think that too ?
for me its a big gamble buying burnley and at £200million and there is not much room for profit
yes each season your in the premier league then tv revenue will balance the books ? but then it comes at a price when players know they will get top wages on 2 to 3 years contracts and managers wanting money in the transfer windows
funny thing for me is burnley are in danger of going down this season and could be a hard fight getting back in
the only good thing is there are 3 clubs worst than burnley in the league and one in shef utd who have gone for me
Totally agree mate burnley will never be as big as us, i doubt they will extend the stadium? & would it be beneficial? like i said earlier burnleys biggest prob now becomes attracting the next level of player to take them up a level, we threw money at players after our takeover because we were still a “big club” burnley dont have that luxurythe thing is matey 18 other clubs are in debt and better off than burnley ? so being debt free means nothing in the premier league sadly, yes burnley have a hard core fan base but its not 40.000 plus a tv fan base ?
like i been saying manchester city take over was not a gamble really because we was a big club that was being run badly. man utd had bad mouthed us for 30 years and the tag little old city form in the media ? but even in utd glory in the 60s Manchester city was there and bigger liverpool and city fan base was 2nd to none
sleeping giant ??? more like the DNA of jurassic park hahah. it needed somebody to link the dots together and then it would become unstoppable
A closed shop is exactly what the Americans wantmaybe the premier league could become a closed shop without relegation and promotion ? maybe a controlling board to view how clubs in the bottom 2 or 3 can be demoted if your not bringing something to the table i.e (money)
