They go down this year or next that club will be in deep deep shit and how come they pass the fit and proper test? Is it because they are American? God forbid it is anyone from Saudi or Abu Dhabi they go through it with fine tooth comb and ask the history clubs if it’s ok! Disgusting.

When will the Premier League, the FA, the government even wake up to what is happening? I accept what they have done is legal but football is not a normal business and this just makes Yanks rich and football poor.

All they are concerned about is the money, they aren't going to kill the golden goose while it's putting £££'s in the bank.

When it goes tits up with a Super League, franchise teams etc they'll be using that word incompetent twats use 'hindsight' and crying like fuck.
 
The outgoing directors issued a statement:
"We had taken the club as far as we could, so a leveraged buyout by some yankie carpetbaggers was the best we could do. Of course, the £200m we walked away with softened the blow a little. Our final duty is to show the new owners where Burnley is."

I think the stealth coup by American owners to seize voting control over the Premier League is the bigger issue
