My overriding concern was the threat of injuries on that pitch. So almighty relief at the final whistle. Can’t knock a 10-0 aggregate win, whoever the opposition. Wembley here we come!

Gutted for Bolton like most people here but he has to accept that as a player. He might never get chances with City's first team. Should go on loan this summer. Problem for him is he has to sort out his position.

I think none of our youngsters really impressed tonight. Sandler is a bit too slow for the PL, he made 1 huge mistake at the end which should have been converted by Burton.

Here in Toulouse I watch quite a few TFC matches & Girona matches on TV and honestly, none of the City youngsters really stand out like Maffeo did last season. Douglas Luiz has the most talent (looking at how he carries the ball and passes it around) but he is slow and does not position himself to influence games at all. Aleix Garcia is more effective but still quite inconsistent. Manu Garcia can't play at City level that's quite obvious.

Really really hoped to see Matondo play on live TV but never get the chance. He is perhaps injured? Or is it his contract problem?

Matondo is injured. Bit cruel to write off Sandler as i thought he was good tonight. Yes one slip but one thing does not rule out a player in my book. And Eric Garcia was excellent.

No doubt at all that pitch was really tough to play on especially the way we play. One or two tricky passing issues and Sandler's fall on the turn were the dodgy moments in a really good performance by the pair.

The last match I saw Garcia play (EDS V West Ham) he had a shocker so it was good to see him play so well tonight.
