Bury is not fuckin london, its not that big !! No point having a north/east/south/central tiny fuckin branches all over. P&W is a massive succesful branch, im sure many Bury lads go to this already. I think there is the demand there for a Bury branch BUT ONLY ONE !

Looking forward to first meeting.

When I initially set up the Branch It was intended to be a Family Friendly Bury Branch.

The locations suggested were not suitable for this environment I felt. GCC is.

This isn't right in the middle of bury town centre but it is fickle to complain about a branch location that I could walk to in 20mins from the town centre of bury, and when the kirklees trail is finished this would be even quicker.

I took on board peoples complaints however and the branch was renamed North Bury, but North of Bury does stretch into areas such as Walmersley according to the uk parliament constituency.

Each to their own, we all support the same club so :D

Remember people, you do not have to live in a certain area to be a member of it's MCSC branch.

I know people in AuL who are members of either Duky, Bredbury, Baguley etc.

As Ste said - the name of the branch doesn't matter that much - as long as we are under the same umbrella.

Now stop moaning you ingrates :p

20 min walk from Bury !!!! You walk fast and its all uphill, taxi for me.

I am not complaining about venue, never been and other Bluemooners saying good things. I would rather have it where it is than town centre, dont qoute me on this but im assuming parking not a problem at Cricket Club. What i am saying is other people going on about opening yet another supporters club is not viable.

Ive added a few different venue as options but to be honest I just want to see a Bury (MCFC ) Surporters club up and running and at the end of the day it cost about £6 or £7 to go from one of Bury to the other in a Taxi , lets all get behind SteSteez and surport him , what he's doing now is hard enough to get this up and running.

Just waiting for the membership forms and confirmation of the branch formation now lads, once that's received I'll be organising the first meet date.

A few members have agreed to help me out with the venue setup for when you guys come along so everything's all blue :D

To get a taxi from Ramsbottom to Prestwich would cost the best part of £20. I find it hard to believe that some people are knocking this before it's started, the proof will be in the pudding in terms of if it gets up and running then it will have been a success, if it fails then the branch wasn't needed.

But to knock it whilst people are trying to set it up is in my opinion a bit disrespectful. Name the date and let’s get the ball rolling, I’m up for it and a bit giddy

I'll be going to the P&W on Wednesday, and I'll be walking all the way there too :P

Steal some ideas of theres :D
