Bury North would cover the region just right.

I joked about Hare and Hounds or Greenmount Cricket club as they are very close to me, but they are equidistant from Totty/Walshaw/Elton etc.. and Rammy where most are based and on the doorstep for Holcombe and Greenmount.

Count me in.

It would be nice to be in a supporters club that doesn't get marched around towns and escorted to McDonalds as "high risk supporters."...Riff Raff. (;-)

I've moved out of the area now but we tried to get this off the ground probably 12 years ago; I knew the landlord of the H and H quite well and he is back there again now. Anyway, he was well up for us having the meetings there etc. Might be worth asking him?

I'm sure I'll know plenty of faces off this thread, had plenty of good laughs watching City in the H and H over the years!!

Thanks for the info. I haven't been in the H&H for awhile, I rarely drink so I'm not massively keen on having the branch hq in a pub.
it is an option, have to see where these Cricket Clubs go as it is more than ideal as a setting (plus it has a bar for those who want to drink)

Currently manning the front line in the isolated northern outpost of Rawtenstall, surrounded by Burnley but been successfully fending them off since being posted here in 2004. Would be great to leave the foxhole occasionally for some R&R with fellow Blues.
One question, are you restricted on how far into alien territory the branch can accept footsoldiers from.
Anywhere in Bury is accessible as long as I can get someone to man the ramparts for a while... passport is valid and credentials are 100% manc

There used to be a Rossendale branch, don't know if there still is

Lots of luck with this :)

The biggest problem is getting people to become active committee members. Get the committee sorted first and the rest should fall in to place.

EDIT : You can join any branch you wish. It just makes attending meetings etc. easier if you actually live close the to venue of that branch.
