Both sides seem terrible at this 're-uniting the fans' business. They are expressing their fears and accusations in official public statements which in turn feeds the anger within both sets of supporters leading to more public negative discourse. I'd suggest they both STFU for a while and try and demonstrate that they can work together for the benefit of the fan base as a whole. It just looks like a complete shambles from the outside.

why not both clubs play at gig lane in a ground share ? then both enter the non league and just get on with it

The vast majority of Bury fans want the clubs to merge and play at Gigg Lane under the Bury FC name. It’s the activists on both sides who have hijacked the campaign and made it toxic. They number a hundred or so against a fanbase of say 20,000. The other 19,900 wish they’d all STFU and common sense allowed itself to prevail.
Precisely. Some horrible stuff has been said publicly and as others have correctly opined, it has all become toxic

They can show it on BeIN Sports. Long as they have the licence to show the game, they’re basically an entertainment hall

Not sure what ‘an entertainment hall’ is exactly legally. But I’m pretty certain that nobody can show live football on a TV in the UK at 3pm Saturday, unless they have specific permission from the football authorities.

20,000 fan base? I think you have added an extra zero.

As I've said before and also on the Moston Rag Socks thread.... people get power mad once they get a taste of it and don't want to give it up - especially when they have the club paying them and their pals £30K a year wages!

Walsh is now apparently working for the FSA on at least twice that
Another reason why I don’t trust that organisation beyond their free legal advice

He can't be on that much with the FSA
You’d be amazed, also at what some of the Kick It Out crew are pulling for a few days of ‘consultancy’ - ie sitting about eating free buffets and chatting to their mates for a few days a year
St George’s Park near Burton, the FA centre where a lot of this bollocks goes on, is a great reason why the Premier League clubs shouldn’t subsidise anybody else. Jobs for the boys
