City fans will never learn will they. Instant impact and nothing less will do, the lad's 20 ffs and taken huge strides this season scoring 7 in 12 starts I think. Get a grip.

we could have torres and villa upfront and some stupid city fans will still moan. we need a striker who will score 50 a season to get any positive words! blackburn were the better team untill caicedo scored. give this lad two years and he will be an amazing striker, for any doubters. compare his goals/game ratio to anybody else in europe. and i hope to god you dont tell me teves is better, or u seriously dont deserve to have a pair of bollocks!

I quite like Caicedo and I think the stick he gets is very harsh. He is very raw at the moment but he's miles away from the finished article. He's got the tools to be a very good player. He's got 7 goals this season, I believe and he hasn't played an awful lot. He only played his first game of the season in December and has been in and out of the team. Not a bad output at all, IMO. At the end of the day, strikers are judged on goals and that's what he's been getting reasonably consistently.

He probably isn't going to be a starter next year but could prove to be a useful squad player. However, at present he is the player at the club that is most suited to the lone striker role.
