Well Hughes must disagree with you - and, lets be honest, Hughes signings for city have turned out pretty well (apart from TBH)

Who else is available? Hughes, Redknapp and Zola obvioulsy believe he is worth than £5m and they are more qualified than you or I.

Are our current players in the similar position really worse than Bellamy?
Sturridge, Bojinov, Caicedo, Jo, Benjani, Evans, or Petrov (if Les want Bellamy to play on the left)....
Can't see the logic of buying Bellamy here, not to say with the knee jerk price for an average player at 14 Millions!

The best return we will get is 1 goal in 4 games when he has a good season, put him in with Dunn and we will be playing with 9 men most weeks.

You will find he scored a goal in every 1.8 games under MH at Blackburn.
If he does that for City he can throw what he likes out of his pram.
