What are the chances of Callum Doyle being sold this Summer or does he have a chance to make the team ?

He's not long since hit 20 years old and he's under contract until summer 2027 so I'd be surprised if he was sold this summer at least. Whether he'll make it with us is still up in the air, but at 20 he's got plenty of time to prove himself.

Ake turning 30 next season, i hope this kid is in the succession planning to back up Gvardiol tbh. outstanding player.

Has the ball playing ability but may lack a yard of pace to become an elite centre back.

I've no doubt he'll be a Prem player but I'm not fully convinced it'll be at the very top.

Yes . His lack of pace shows up in the Championship but his passing makes up for it. He is quality on the ball !!

That's fair but I think Dias is faster than Doyle.

He's a slower version of Laporte.

It’s Doyle’s turning circle that is the issue. I’ve no idea if that can be worked on. Maybe better starting body position?

I wonder if maybe he has a real chance of coming into the first team the next couple years if Stones cant stay fit. Doyle has a lot of similar skill on the ball and could be the next project for Pep!

Offensively been good and passing has been neat and tidy, however defensively down the wing he's been caught out frequently throughout the match. That could be just him shaking the rust off though, since he's been out for so long.

He looked a tad rusty against Millwall but that's to be expected after a lengthy lay off. I'm not sure that Maresca has him playing in his best position but his quality is obvious ..

I agree, I want to see him play at least one game as a central CB instead of playing the left CB. Have JJ play on the left instead because he has the pace.

Rumours floating around Leicester that Doyle will move in the Summer for 10 to 15 mil .. I'm hoping the rumours are true.

I do wonder if City look at him to be part of the squad next season, perfect for our new system with defenders out wide instead of conventional full backs. Need depth in the team for more games coming up.

Loan would have to be prem but I bet a lot of teams want to buy him rather than develop him for us.

Agree we need to bolster our squad for the amount of games we have to play next season and what's best is to fill it with our own quality players who be happy to miss out on a few games! Have feeling though we will sell with a big sell on clause

Agree, Leicester will probably only take him as a sale with a sell on rather than a loan. Probably a few others included in that.
