So I am looking to hire a campervan from Manchester for a week in early May next year. Like the countryside and coast in particular. Where would you advise on going as a round trip?

Early may next year you say. Drive OUT of Manchester to trafford, park up outside old toilet for a week or so. And laugh at the twats coming out of the meccano set at finishing mid table.
