Really? Dont think ive ever spent more than £25 for a night on a camp site...with hookup. Unless you only use really shit hotels :-)

I use shit hotels mate :)

Premier Inn was the last one that I got for £29 a night with a flushable toilet and coffee making facilities.

Thinking of getting a tent and going camping with the wife and dog, is it a YES or NO, can anyone recommend any camping sites in the UK, dog friendly...Still undecided so hoping this thread will help :)

Glamping is the new black over here mate, people like to camp but not really camp.

Throw the kitchen sink into the converted 4 tonner and tell their friends they are going back to nature for a week ;)

Some Retired people in Oz become grey nomads, sell the house and buy a big fuck off RV or caravan and just drive round Australia all year.
It's 15,000 kilometers once round with vast areas completely empty of people and towns.

Yeah that is bollocks and not been my experience at all, camping is cheap once you have forked out the initial cost of the gear.

All depends which way you camp or where you camp, pitching up on average in the UK is about £25 a night or so the mighty google tells us.
