Can a band make more than two albums nowadays

i just thing there were too many short songs that were irrelevant, i'd have preferred some more proper songs, maybe building off the style of New Divide rather than being so soft.

Yeah, the interludes were annoying. Before the release chester said it would be like HT, i was expecting a heavier album but then i checked his quote again and he said that it would be like HT in terms of the amount of hip hop.
 
Biffy Clyro...Blackened Sky, vertigo of bliss, infinity land, puzzle...ok maybe not the new one

Charlatans....10 albums, haven't heard the new one

Most other bands I listen to now are either really old, or only on their 1st or 2nd album

Don't even know why I'm bothing replying to this but you say Radiohead haven't made any decent albums.........??
OK Computer and The Bends are simply two of the finest albums ever released. Kid A was also a great album, maybe not up there with the best but its certainly worth a mention. Arctic Monkeys...pfft don't make me fucking laugh you won't get people still listening to their music in 10 years time.


Agree with BlueTG aswell Modest Mouse are top notch, Lonesome Crowded West is a classic!!
 
A) Radiohead's The Bends and OK Computer are two of the albums of the 90's
b) What do you mean nowadays? Rubber Soul and Revolver are the only 2 great Beatles albums. The others are patchy at best with Abbey road coming closest to being a great album. Van Morrison never replicated the brilliance of Astral weeks and Moondance either. So I guess 2 great albums is about as much as anyone can muster.

Number 1, im in college, 2nd year to be precise.
Number 2, i was answering the OP as i think that LP made more than 2 good albums.
Number 3, if LP never made a good album why is Hybrid theory deemed as a success?
