Can the wounded animal beat PSG?

Unlikely, but perfectly possible.

They've got issues over Verrati's fitness. If he misses that tie in Paris it will be a huge opportunity for us. PSG are a weird team, a bit like City, they can sometimes be very complacent and it's possible to catch them cold. I think we can do it over two legs, especially having the advantage of going away first.

It's curious, but a CL semi and finishing fourth in the league would render this to have been a good season, at least in my eyes.

For me, it's not so much the league position or that we're so far behind, but the way we're playing. We're dull to watch, and there appears, on the face of it, to be no fight in the players (and not just since the Guardiola announcement). I honestly think if there were a couple of youngsters getting a chance due to the injuries then it'd be different, but the manager is just sticking with people who are out of form. It's bloody frustrating. Lots of possession, and shots on goal (predominantly shiteshots), but just dull and turgid - that's my issue.

You're right about a CL semi though, the club will deem that success, regardless of how piss poor we're looking on the pitch.

PSG will batter us.
