Can we do this to stop Delap's throw ins

I've got two ideas, either get Viera to stand 2 yards away and as Delap runs up outstrech a leg and kick him in the balls, we'll lose Viera but they'll lose Delap, who's more valuable?

OR even better idea. Set a trampoline just off the pitch, as Delap goes for a throw Wright-Phillips runs up to the second tier, jumps off, hopefully hits the trampoline, flies through the air and then heads the throw-in clear, simple.

I'm hoping for an injury or a red card for Delap against Pompey at the weekend, i'd feel alot more confident if he wasn't playing.

You have to stand 2-3 yards from the touch line. So we don't we get Santa Cruz onto Adebayor's shoulders and that way he won't be able to throw the ball that far

that really made me laugh! just what i needed after a shit day at work

Fight fire with fire train one of our lads to do it - come one Micah or Put Viera 2 yards away - that way he might some fuckin use.

simple really. Just take the smug, urangatang (shit spelling, sorry) and do a vinnie jones on him in the 1st few minutes. Get Santa fucking xmas to do it as him being sent off will not be a loss for us. Delap is like a static version of the best winger in the world. The potters would still play him if hs was in a wheel chair - does shit all else for the 90 minutes apart from make sure his towels are constantly being tumbledried.

Gotta say when I see those throw ins on telly they look easy to defend, last night they were awesome and almost impossible to defend.

A great weapon to have, better than a free kick and a corner.

BTW, there was nowt wrong with that last minute goal... good job Wiley is so useless.

David James used to catch them all day at Bolton until they gave up.

We dealt with them fine on tuesday...

Santa on edge of area, Ade behind him and then 2 on the 6 yard line.

If we get Kompany back that'll be another big guy.

I'd have to disagree there.

Whilst accepting we did deal with some, they also created a few good chances from them, add to that they had a perfectly good goal disallowed from one (courtesy of some poor refereeing) and they scored from one on Saturday.... I maintain they are a bloody good weapon to have in your armoury.
