optimistic in pre season when losing to orlando pirates,kaiser chiefs,rangers and not beating barnsley..
yet when the season starts we have 9 out of 9 and no goals conceded...

whats the point supporting the blues if you honestly think that any of the top 4 were untouchable. we have always been capable of turning over the so called top 4 but now we have a squad that must be seen as one of the best in the league why wouldnt we.
it is clear that baconface is worried that we can easily become serious contenders by trying to play his typical mind games by saying we are a small club with a small mentality. even if we loose both derbys whitch i doubt. we will give any team a run for their money. we will definately close the gap if not overtake any one of the top 4.

Absolutely unbelievable that somebody could ask such a moronic question when we are only three games into our first full season under Sheikh Mansour's ownership.
We have yet to concede a goal and have three wins from our first three games, plus a win in the League cup (which is an improvement in itself) and still our own fans are waiting for us to fail.
God knows what will happen if we actually lose a game.

Enjoy it while it lasts because there are plenty of non-Citizens waiting / hoping for us to fail!

But to answer your question - yes we can. We have not just closed the gap, we have passed them and left them behind. Done it before, do it again. This season, next season, this decade. Just wait, not too long.
Don't know if it'sa wind up but Tevez is not a Utd cast off. They were trying to beat the price down and sign him throughout the second half of the season. Thinking they held the cards and with the recession the owners would not get the price they previously agreed. When they failed, they then tried to sign him for the price we agreed but had pissed off Tevez and his owners too much. Old Trafford is a Tevez cast off.
