Is Didier Drogba a shite forward?

Because in his first two seasons at Chelsea, he only scored 16 goals in each of those seasons, in all competitions.

So by your reckoning, Chelsea should have got rid.

But they didn't, and look what happened, 150 goals in 323 games.
Not just goals though mate is it.

Strikers have to do other things, Dzeko is getting the goals still but we need more fight from him. More desire.
Well, against Liverpool he played bad, yet he managed to score, should be given a penalty and had a wonderful pass to our one trick pony.

Whit a little luck his actions would have given us 3 goals, what more do you expekt from a striker? And this is in a game where he has been criticized the most together with Savic.

You think that Cavani, Benzema or even RvP would have done more yesterday?

Benzema is in a brilliant form now days.

I think he is good enough but he is not a player who can come in and out of the team. He needs to start every game. Just look at the start of the season when he was starting every game, he was on fire, then he was "rested" after scroing 4 at Spurs and has not quite been the same since.

Dzeko is absolutely brilliant at getting on the end of crosses and scoring goals but unfortunately we don't have anyone who consistantly delivers quality into the box, other than Nasri. We just need an old fashioned winger (as a squad player/different option when Silva & Nasri aren't getting space through the middle) to provide width and genuine quality crosses into the right areas. AJ is great when his confidence is up and he's running at players but he doesn't get crosses into the box. Looks how many chances the scum create with Valencia and Nani just whipping over crosses constantly, Dzeko would score 30/40 goals a season with service like that. We play a different style and I think Silva and Nasri are a million times better than those two but we do need that different option. Dzeko certainly needs to work on his first touch and integration into the quick passing moves but that's not his natural game, like Aguero's natural game isn't a towering back post header but you have to work on your weaknesses to make you a better player.

i really rate him

he shouldnt have been dropped when he was scoring though

this. same with Milner - shouldn't be dropped when they're playing well

Stupid argument. He shouldn't lose form immediately after being rested for one match, in preparation for a bigger one.

he's crap,pure crap

the sunderland game i will never forget or forgive him,5 6 or 7 good chances and not one goal ,that game will haunt us i reckon

Good player, but just don't see him in our style of play.

He'll score if you give him an opportunity but does far too little the rest of the game.

We cannot start playing with wingers just to accomodate him. Despite their difference in size both he and Kun are poachers. The difference is that Kun offers more outside the box. And can create for himself.

Balotelli should start every time ahead of Edin. that being the case Edin might want to leave anyway.
