Well, the bad patch we were promised is at least here in part.. Last 6 is now 3 defeats, 1 draw and 2 wins (against teams in the bottom 4). Shame all the defeats didn't come in the league but hey ho.

round about this point last season a similar thread was started and I posted a reply that said something like we should concentrate on a strong finish to the season because that way we have something to take into the following season and we would have put ourselves into a position to take advantage of any bad Utd results.

The situation is similar now but the points gap is 12 not 8, so the best we can hope for is the physiological blow of cutting down that lead. If we do that and win the fa cup I will be delighted!

West ham and stoke are two tough away ties for them and then theres arsenal and Chelsea and a resurgent villa side but I just can't see them blowing it, all we can do is win all our remaining games and hope. Really shows how important those supposed easier games against stoke, west ham, sunderland, southampton and to a lesser extent everton really are in the end. Win those and it would've been anyones game for the title.

maybe i'm drunk or to excited about the result tonight BUT i really feel we can make it again....our toughest game from mow on are spurs and swansea away while the bastards have wba stoke arsenal away and chelsea at home...stoke is fighting to stay up and arsenal and chelsea fight for CL spot....i believe in the guys they can make it again...what you fellas think????

Agreed. Just makes some of our earlier results so disappointing. Southampton (a), QPR (A), Red Mickeys (h) etc etc
