That doesn't mean she can't have an opinion Rascal.

Yes it does if you look at our constitiution.

The Queen is and should be above politics at all times. The power of the monarchy was annuled back in the days of Cromwell and it has remained neutered.

The Queen of course has the ultimate power to dissolve Parliament, but she would never exercise that power as it would signal the end of her dynasty.

I find it incredulous that the Queen has meddled in politics, she may have an opinion yes, but she should never have expressed it.

Yeah she's nearly as bad as Abu Hamza tut tut

I don't think it would end her dynasty.

Just stabbing in the dark here and saying that politicians in general are not favoured (Or their opinions aren't) over the Queen.

If there was a conflict caused by the Queen using her powers with government I know which side i'd be on.

I'm not a republican.

I'm honestly surprised they haven't asked MI5 to sort this guy out. Wouldn't be the first time a countries intelligence service was used to remove an unwanted person.

Im not a radical republican either despite my views.

The Queen is now in many respects the essence of our democracy. But she should never get involved on any aspect of our democracy. She is apart from it, she is the facillator and the signee but not the voice.

Her opinions should only be voiced to the PM of the day in private, whoever that PM is can take her advice on board or ignore it, but they must not act on it without Parliaments permission.

The Queen is allowed in Parliament once a year to give her governments speech and that is right by me. That his her ceremonial role and if we want to go back to the abuse of power that previous monarchs have had over the centuries then you are fools or dont understand how our constitition works

The son of radical Islamic cleric Abu Hamza has been convicted of carrying out an armed raid at a jewellers.
Civil engineering student Mostafa, of Deverills Way, Slough, told the jury he had been teaching Arabic and the Koran at a community centre in London at the time the robbery took place.
He told the jury when he gave evidence: "I am not a thief. I am not an armed robber."
A fuckin student aswell,dear me.
Another of Abu Hamza's sons, Yasser Kamel, 20, was jailed for 12 months in 2010 after admitting violent disorder during anti-Israel riots in London.
Nice family.

I know roughly how the constitution works Rascal and I knew you weren't a rabid Republican m8.

But that opinion she has will be a powerful one....but in this case I doubt it really meant much because the government want rid of this miscreant and the European court of human rights have stepped to one side to facilitate it.

He'll be eating twinkies and muttering the American national anthem any day soon now when the judge turns his ridiculous appeal down on Tuesday.

you didn't but the Queen has only expressed an opinion that the vast majority of people in this country share in any case

it's a joke that Hamza has spun this out for so long and that we taxpayers have spent so much money on this absolute scumbag and his scumbag family

the Queen is apparently not as out of touch as many would have thought!
