Foden’s ability to stay on his feet and get the pass away when being fouled is superb

played well and controlled the game but somehow managed to make hard work of it......just the final ball (or the one before the final ball) just wasnt there at times.

Thought better of Villa in the past but they could easily have had a red today - the tackle of Sergio was reckless at the very least and Sterling jsut gets no protection whatsoever from referee's.

Rodri and Foden played very well and Walker was his usual reliable self. Stones recovered after his howler and Ferna immense as always.

Another trophy in the bag - media and other teams try and belittle it but let the drown in their bitter tears.
