Carabao Cup Final Post-Match Thread

Funny video from a Birmingham forum 2/3 years ago:

Funny video, I heard a few young City fans singing shit on the Villa at Euston Station last night.
The most telling lyrics to me though are "Won their trophies when it was easy". At least 50% of their trophies were won pre WW1 which is over 100 years ago.

Sarcastic comment for a supposed City Fan. You ought to go to Wembley more often like the rest of us - you would have seen him win the Charity Shield v Liverpool)
I can't remember if Claudio was the reserve keeper that day but it was definitely Willy that was the hero of the hour in that game...
I remember the hokey cokey song being sang all the way back to Euston Station...

Willy was the hero in the Capital One Cup final vs Liverpool in 2016. He made some great saves in the penalty shoot out. And Yaya sealed it .

You mustn’t have gone to last year’s community shield.

Met some of their fans having a pint in Rickmansworth pre-match and they were OK. However arriving on Wembley way around 3.30pm it was clearly knobheads day out from Birmingham; had one nut yelling in my face and trying to block my way with his flag - I had my 12 year old daughter and 14 year old son with me and my mate similarly had his kids with him - how brave of the Villa knobhead and his mates. Fortunately another member of our group who is quite tall and well built went over and had a word and the problem was sorted.

Up and down Wembley way before and after the game we had boorish behaviour and them generally banging on about 1982 which for them seems all they want to sing about; can only put it down to jealousy as we overtook them many years ago and they barely register with us now, and yet they seem to think they are somehow better fans or have more support because they sold their lower ticket allocation a couple of days before we did - I await their parade for this achievement. Thankfully after a group of them piping up again about 1982, a large group of Blues in the tube queue just before the steps at Wembley Park reminded them that they've had their day out, and it was time to go home!

Thought Stoke, Sunderland, Chelsea & Arsenal fans far better and more personable on Wembley games - Villa Park is a decent away day but I genuinely hope they go down. A large percentage of their fans are tiresome wind up merchants who'll disappear within a heartbeat when the chips are down.
Villa have averaged over 40,000 once since 1950. This is a team with the biggest support in their region. When we share our region with United and Liverpool yet have beeb getting almost 20k mire than them in the last five years or so.

From their title winning year in 1981 when they averaged over 34,000; just five years later they averaged just over 15,000 when they were shit again. Where do all their fans disappear to when they’re shit?

We played them in the FA Cup four years ago and had around 28% of the entire attendance that day with our 6,500 away fans.

Yet all they could shout yesterday was this empty seats jibe. Talk about a deluded set of ****s or what?!

Hopefully they’re relegated this season and they’re back to getting 10k per game, if there’s less of them it might save themselves from battering each other and acting like dick heads.

They have their own thread about their own behaviour, ffs: https://www.villatalk.com/topic/20049-incidents/

The best being this, talk about inbreeding...

2 cousins fighting on tesco car park. Initially they were wrestling and having a laugh, one of them got the hump whilst the other was like well dont ask for a wrestling match then. This went on for about 5 minutes whilst others were trying to make sure nothing happened, all of a sudden the lad who was a bit leery and pissed off turns and punches the lad trying to calm it all down . He got nicked and rightly so the idiot.
