If you look at the challenges our players have faced over the last couple of months, we are really lucky not to have lost at least one player for the season. But we can't possibly continue that luck if it is allowed to happen without sanction.

If the same thing had happened to the rags, under Ferguson, it would be the main topic of conversation every weekend, with replays shown.

Pep needs to keep on about it.

Easier way if for the fa to come out and say you can still be retrospective banned even if you get a yellow card

Like diving any tackle like todays has to be reviewed and either a yellow upgraded to a red after the event or if no card was issued, a retrospective red issued.

If as a player you know you won’t get away with a dirty challenge even if you get a yellow a lot of players won’t take that risk.

Maybe he has tried to reduce his bulk to reduce the impact on his calf’s? I thought he played well.

Gündogan was excellent today.
He is clearly growing in confidence with getting more game time.
His ball retention and close control are so good. He also showed some steel when needed. Very good news for us indeed.
Bernardo is finally begin to look like the player he was at Monaco.
Brilliant that we have the strength in depth now to manage the absence on David Silva which we definitely struggled with last year.

It is a ridiculous rule that allows this to go unpunished! He could have been playing next week! Kane scored about 6 goals when he should have been banned. It’s just totally wrong

I was in a pub in London watching the game , and everybody was rejoicing at the disallowed goal and the robust tackles . Really had to bite my lip ..to be fair there was a barcode who agreed with me.

You missed the one on De Bruyne too at Palace.

All of a sudden it is being allowed to happen and not much fuss is being made about it. I haven’t see 5 potential leg breakers on any other side. We are being targeted. Expect more of the same Wednesday with that inept twat in charge.
