Are we too nice? I remember hating the way the rags used to surround refs and opposition players, but perhaps we aren't making enough of the incidents. If we'd all gone after Bennett after his assault would the ref have seen it as more aggressive?

It really shouldn't have to come to that but something has to happen

Do we need to play with a striker? Players swopping positions in the first half caused them no end of troubles.

What do you do when De Bruyne suddenly decides to play right back? A good way of drawing defenders out when sitting deep. Think this way of playing makes Bernardo play better.

That's at least 4 challenges over the ball leg breakers I can think of.
Sterling KDB vs spurs Gundogan vs Newcastle,sane today.

It's disgusting and pep City need to inform the FA that this can't go on.
We've been very lucky but as said this can't keep happening.

It is a ridiculous rule that allows this to go unpunished! He could have been playing next week! Kane scored about 6 goals when he should have been banned. It’s just totally wrong

I think the reasoning behind this was they didn’t want to re ref the game and undermine the match officials. But isn’t VAR exactly doing this
This is the rule that’s winds me up more than any other.

Gündogan was excellent today.
He is clearly growing in confidence with getting more game time.
His ball retention and close control are so good. He also showed some steel when needed. Very good news for us indeed.
Bernardo is finally begin to look like the player he was at Monaco.
Brilliant that we have the strength in depth now to manage the absence on David Silva which we definitely struggled with last year.

Agreed - both could do with a goal or two to boost confidence.

Terrible that a player can get a 6 game ban for the disgusting habit of spitting but a tackle like the one on Leroy can get off scott free because he was booked.

You missed the one on De Bruyne too at Palace.

All of a sudden it is being allowed to happen and not much fuss is being made about it. I haven’t see 5 potential leg breakers on any other side. We are being targeted. Expect more of the same Wednesday with that inept twat in charge.

The one at palace was a terrible one..im not sure it was malicious though.it was a desperate last minute foul to stop us counter attacking.
Still reckless and a red though.
The other ones mentioned I think the players may have actually intentionally tried to do our players.
The Harry Kane one maybe was just mistimed,the other ones like today though were disgusting.
Over the ball challenge in to planted leg.
That lad today could of just tripped Sanes lead leg like most players do.
I'm fuming with it still.
