The way some players just walked past Yaya yesterday with no effort did worry me a bit and it's something that needs to change.
Its not the first time either (yaya), I don't understand what his problem is, I'm sure its not just who the opposition are, is it where he's being asked to play, is it the way the team is playing or the players that are playing ? He certainly needs to impose himself more in some games. I'd play him further foward away from home, if nothing else it means we defend far higher up the pitch than we did yesterday, though its fair to say we just didn't defend well enough yesterday, anywhere on the pitch. I don't think that Silva is the right player for games like yesterday, at least not from the start.

I can't remember the last time he made a crunching or sliding tackle?....if he can't intercept the ball he doesn't bother, very worrying?

The good old English sliding tackle

Yesterday. A sliding tackle coming from the side and behind. Good one as well.

We are to dependent on Silva if he can't make an impact we run short of ideas,we needed another attacking midfielder after losing out on isco

Mata?

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Corners seemed to be a big problem for us yesterday at both ends, when we had a corner i didnt get too excited as nothing seemed to come of them, but when Cardiff got a corner a thought shit somethings going to happen here as it proved. i know i wasnt the only one people around me were feeling the same. We should be doing better in those situations with big Edin etc there, something for Pellers to work on perhaps.

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

We have got another attacking midfielder in Jovetic and I can't wait to see him .
Yaya did try to play through and over Cardiff in the first half especially ( one lovely crisp pass through go Dzeko who half - heartedly stuck out a toe and missed it - then followed it up with a glare at yaya)
Most worrying was a lack of threat down the left ! Just heard on Talksh*t that there is " another bidder " for Bale!!!
Hmmmmm , I wonder?!?!?!

Stupid Rag twats across the road have just been bleating about us. Wouldn't mind but both are fucking plastics. Anyway just reminded them of their defeat at Burnley and funny enough they didn't know what I was talking about and immediately shut the fuck up.
Hope they get stuffed tonight. Twats!

Only seen OS highlights, but isn't Zab losing his man on both corners a bit of an issue?

Got the impression Zaba had something other than football on his mind yesterday...
