Just goes to show Vinny's value. Had he been in team today, we would have won.
Two nervous centre halves

Pelegrini reckons that Cardiff is a difficult place and many won't win there!

Absolute bollock! One of thr easiest away days fucked up!

Well don't like that coming from our manager that's very Naive what's going to say when we have been to the other 18 away games if we defended properly we would of won guarantee Chelsea and the scum will win there

Time for Yaya to buck up or fuck off back to Barca, lazy ****.
Yayas admitted himself he can't be arsed against small teams. Did Aguero say he expected us to hopefully win FOUR trophies this season ha ha...not with performances like that as a team.

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

The problem was we had it all our own way on MOnday and wasn't ready for the fight. We need all our warriors back: Vincent, Nasasic and Michah.

We were bad but we'll put it right: Fernandinho will get used to the pyhsical aspects of the game and Ya Ya will start to control the mid-field again.

We have the best manager and best team in the league. This defeat was unfortunate but will be used a tool by MP. to make things right.

A little worried by Augero and Zab's performance, but they're world class and by this time next week we'll all be purring over them again

Probably not. But it shows how wank our defence is when he isn't in it.

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Not the end of the world, but seems we've learnt nothing from the last season.

What grates the most is we always seem to just love the possession game IN THE OTHER DEEP IN THE OPPOSITION'S HALF which leads to 11 men defending their box. Why we can't learn to play deeper in our own half? For me its just school boy football when a team can't rely on their defensive qualities and invite pressure so to leave more areas behind the oppositions defence. Its either players don't trust our defence and defensive mids or their not being coached to do so.

Anyway theres plenty of time to sort it.

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Every season at least one newly promoted side gets a result like this, just this season we were on the end of it. Believe me if the fixture list had us playing here in January it would be have been an easier match with 3 points to the blues. Chin up everyone, no one died.
