Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Shite defensively, naive tactically and a fucking shocking lack of urgency.

Garcia wasn't at fault today so not going to go there. Lescott won't get a new contract and I don't think Manuel particularly rates him. Must be honest, since he was 'dropped' for Nastasic last year, he's never looked as comfortable.

Joe Hart could soon be in 'real' danger of losing his place. I don't think he will but if this 'bad form' continues, at what point does he become a risk for us? The news that Mancini had planned to replace him with Begovic also backs up the fact that he may not be as good as we like to believe.

Thought we may have put Rodwell on in the middle after we scored today. Fernandinho's second game in the Premier League and he's against a newly promoted team bang up for a fight. Toure looked bored today too. Aguero looked knackered and Nasri isn't an option from the bench.

Bad day all round so I'm fucking off football for a bit*! :)

Very complacent today I thought, I think Pellegrini will have noticed that, won't be many who win at their place though the atmosphere there sounds great, but in general we should of beat them, Hart was awful today.

Typical City.

Despite all the great players and fantastic owners it seems Typical City is here to stay.
Do you think we will ever get rid.

He is a great tackler, great at decision making,is a warrior and isn't afraid of a challenge, takes part in attacks, has leadership qualities etc........

I don't doubt his great qualities, he is a true blue and a warrior. Yes.

But a hugely overrated and actually, fundamentally not particularly good right back. City fans are wowed by hi committment, and the media hype which has whipped up around him - started by rat face Neville, actually.

But when you look at it objectively, dispassionately, he is flaky in defence and rarely, if ever does an attack featuring Zabaleta result in a goal. The guy is average. Top bloke, love him. But average.
He scored the first goal against qpr I think, anyway to each his own lets just agree to disagree.

Of course he did. But that doesn't mean he is genius, does it. He fluked that one in as well.

Poor defending from Clichy for the first goal
Poor marking from Zabaleta for the 2nd and 3rd goal

And I think we have to blame Pellegrini for the marking system instead of picking the easy choice and blame Garcia

Are we sure it not mancini`s fault? he got us used t zonal marking.

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Poor result, defence was nowhere, and Hart just had a shocker, two goals conceded from corners just not good enough, I hope Pelegrini reads them the riot act after that performance during this week.................

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

What a result for us. I thought you were going to snatch a draw at the death, brilliant atmosphere though, good luck with the title chase, I hope you take it back from the red s***

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

tempo, tempo, tempo, passing for passings sake (when we was level too), midfield was shocking, harts been poor for 18 months, yaya's picking his games, agueros finishing is inconsistent.......................................................apart from that
