Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Very disappointing. Thought we tried hard enough, but simply didn't show enough quality in midfield or up front. Too many sideways passes, not enough incisive play. Tempo was a huge problem again. All in all, far too reminiscent of last season.

On the plus side you'd think Pellegrini has now seen all our weaknesses at first hand.

I really don't understand how some of you don't see the different football we're playing than under Mancini. It stinks of agenda because we're doing a bunch of things differently. Breaking down a packed team is always difficult and we didn't do a great job of it today, but we failed differently :)
Don't forget we were 1 up, we'd already broken the defence. The problem was our defending, can you honestly say a team managed by Mancini would have defended so poorly?

Fcuking ridiculous the over reactions on here. First we're gonna piss every game 5-0, next we're dogshite.

The reality is it will be a long, hard season. And unfortunately the rags will win games like this. We'll need to scrap for points most weeks instead of saying Look, aren't we marvellous?"

goals were mistakes from zaba and hart. bring in boyata and rekik, they could be way better than lescott and garcia.

I agree with this, with addition of Pant !

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Positives - Silva worked tirelessly, Dzeko's goal, Negrado off the mark, no more injuries picked up.

Negatives (I'll try and keep it brief!)

Yaya - not the player he once was. I read the Cardiff fans view on here the other day and they were raving about him, "the complete midfielder" I think one opinion read - perhaps he once was but he was woeful today, need more from him this season. Good job Ron Atkinson is in the big brother house.

Zab - bad day at the office, but not going to slate him as to be fair its the first one he's had in a long time. And at least he looks genuinely gutted when we concede

Hart made a couple of decent saves first half but what the fuck he was doing on that corner is beyond me.

Aguero nowhere near fit.

Looking for a big response on Saturday v Hull
