The high line wasn't the problem. It was the lack of pressing the ball by everyone and our utter lack of defending corners. MP wan't to play the high line system. We can't play that system for 1 game then play the old drop deep because Vinnie is out and then go back to the high line a couple games later etc... That's not gonna work. For the team to get better at the system we need to be consistent and play the same way game to game so the players get confortable with it. Changing back and forth will only make it worse.

The Arsenal friendly game was definitely a sign of things to come. The high line is going to kill us.
YaYa, Garcia, Lescott, Hart and especially Cliche and Zaballeta just aren't up to it.
