Unles i'm very much mistaken when Tevez arrived he was told by Hughes we'd be building the team around him.

I'm guessing (and only speculating) that Mancini isn't in tune with that idea and has never had that plan for City in mind. Tevez is a player in the team, not the team itself.

I can't however argue with Tevez's reasons for wanting to go. He's clearly been disillusioned with the game in general, misses his kids and hasn't settled. But he always ran his socks off for us, and set us in the right direction and i for one won't slate him.

No-one is bigger than the club, including us ans, and if it hasn't worked out for him, it hasn't worked out. He scored plenty of goals for us to cheer and everyone will be dissapointed but i hope we don't all attack the man for putting his kids first.

This would indeed be a shocking story if I hadn't witnessed those journos wishing that CITY would implode and also the fact that this has been released by the NOTW who are charging £2 a time for access to their "Exclusive".

I know everyone is shocked and hurting so I'm not making any judgement calls here. But some of you are far too quick to turn on Carlos and slag the guy off.

Lets just see how this plays out first before we bad-mouth a guy who has regularly sweated his body-weight for us and been the main reason we're currently joint top.

Personally I think this will be half-resolved until the end of the season.
Genuinely cannot see him leaving in Jan.

And then in the summer....when hopefully someone of the stature of Dzeko has been with us for a few months already and settling in nicely.....we swap one superstar for another and continue onwards and upwards.

Carlos Tevez wants to leave Manchester City.

Reports emerged on Saturday evening that Tevez had handed in a written transfer request and this has been confirmed to Press Association Sport, even though neither party has made any official comment.

Tevez is believed to have taken the action amid growing turmoil in his private life, although it is not yet known whether City will accept his request or not

If the above is correct and he wishes to leave because of his personal circumstances,then I would NOT object to that.
However if he pisses off to Spain or Italy,then he has lost all respect !
Please just let it be a bag of bollocks story !!!
