Over a substitution? This is crazy.

The substitution issue was used by Tevez to speed up the move which he has wanted for months. Tevez is not irreplaceable and, if he does leave, it may actually free up some of the other players a bit. Tevez is a great player but he does disrupt the shape of the team by dropping far to deep at times. Bring in Dzeko and Benzema in and get Guidetti back from Burnley as cover and we should be ok.

Adebayor/Given/Croque & Bridge all need to go asap.

Part of me thinks that this thread should be headed Joorabchian hands in transfer request, but Tevez looked very frustrated against Bolton. Maybe we have the context now, or maybe his agent is stirring up trouble

We're joint top of the league, and I should be ecstatic, but this news makes me feel down.

Please dont start deluding yourself with fantasy land lala signings. Real wont be parting with Higuain and I very much doubt Torres will leave the dippers. Our most likely signings would Be Dzeko and or Carroll.

If he goes he needs replacing but his contribution will not be replicated and it will damage us.

There are plenty of world class strikers we could buy. It's obvious that Ade is off so we must have been looking at more than one option up to now so I'm not overly worried. Until recently our only choice when teves was out was Ade but that isn't the case anymore and while he will be a loss his I don't believe he will be the difference between success and failure.
