I honestly thought more of Tevez, I assumed this was more about his family. Why he is guided by this dreadful bastard of a man is completely beyond me.

It's worth considering that without Joorabchian it's highly unlikely that Tevez would have signed for City in the first place.

We took advantage of Joorabchian's slimy ways to get hold of Tevez, it shouldn't be too much of a shock that he's now trying the same tactics on us.

I'm actually more hopeful about him staying now. It looks like the issue is solely about money, rather than any desire to leave the club.

He will be here until the Summer, and we will either negotiate a new deal or replace him.

Good response from the club that. It conceeds that he has put in a request, but then shows his agent and the press are full of shit, by stating they (Tevez agent) have come to City recently to try and get even better terms, and by letting everyone know he is the top earner, the ball has been slammed well and truly back in Tevez camp.
I do hope Tevez despite what is going on behind the scenes can remain, professional and continue to play for us, until this is all over, one way or another.

Phew! This is excellent news.

I'm glad to see that, as I expected, Tevez personally has never put in a transfer request at City. But his greedy agent (who will have power of attorney over Tevez) has put in the request in his name as a money-making ploy.

I'm also glad to see that City have named and shamed the guilty party, and hopefully Tevez will now get rid of him. Clearly City want nothing to do with him now, anyway.

Tevez is evidently going nowhere, and never was.

And just to be absolutely clear: Tevez would not have even known about Kia J putting in this transfer request, until after it had happened.

This smells of a Robby move, get a loan deal to your home club....collect wages or maybe its all agent bull for a move elsewhere.....football today.
