Carlos hands in transfer request

So relation av broke down at the club. So he says and the 280 grand a week doesn't ease the pain! What a shame there's thousands of people all over the country in the same situation but can't quit and are on a pittance compared to Tevez! Footballers live on a totally different planet! Oh another thing Fuck Off Tevez you fucking mercenary

i`m still totally shocked to be honest!! since 10pm last night i still cant get my head around it and his statement tonight has left me more confused than ever?? its obviously aimed at cook and/or marwood maybe he wanted extended leave or something and they said no but i find it hard to swallow that he wanted away in the summer!! kia is definately involved in this though and i hope it has no implications on signing a huge star striker as a replacement!! thought he would be with us for years and had planned on seeing him left a trophy this season but not after his latest outburst.i feel numb with anger and disappointment but hope city stand up for themselves and make sure he gets nothing but a tough ride to leave.

I always thought Joorabchian was quite a smart guy, but he's coming across like a right idiot. Why would a player be forced to leave the club due to his relationship with club officials?

Joorabchian is either that out of touch he believes newspaper publicity about Cooke's popularity, or he has some other agenda in mind. Maybe he wants to create a division between club and player so that we have no alternative to sell him to another club?

Nothing that he has said so far makes one bit of sense. We're joint top. In Europe. Tevez is close to being top scorer and he so obviously loves scoring goals for City so what's going on? Does Joorabchian want some more transfer action? I don't buy this fed up with football story. I don't see it in his game at all

The two hopes for a reconciliation are:
1) that Tevez has not authorised Joorabchian's comments, but that look' unlikely
2) Maybe no one else will come in for him, and he will be forced to back down. it's easy standing on your soap box before the transfer window opens, but he might be open to reconciliation if he's still hear when the transfer window closes. What is he going to do then?

Sadly I wonder how this will all effect City? Can we cope without him? Are players like Adebayor ready and willing to step up the mark?

Still think that the timing of this is curious and that after the dust settles we'll find that Mr Joorabchian was agitating for a move for his client (and another payday for himself), and nothing more sinister. The other side of the coin is that so close to the transfer window, we'll be OK.

Thanks Carlos for your effort and goals. I'm sure that given time we'll appreciate your role (like Robinho's) in elevating the club to its current position/status.

That said, I don't think you are a full shilling and, if we are to continue to move on, we can't carry players who have there heads up there arses. I also think that you will regret this episode more than us when you are benchwarming in spain. I also think you need to learn another english word:
R E S P O N S I B I L I T Y ...and perhaps a second, .. humility!

'...the reason I unhappy is errr.. Baconface, Neville, Mancini, Garry Cooke, My Wife etc.'

Personally, loved watching you play, but see ya!

I remember before we signed Tevez, people on here saying he wouldn't go down south because his kids were settled in a local school, well that was a crock of shit wasn't it.
It seem he's been playing for us under duress for some time, Cook/Marwood seem to be the people who've kept him here and the ones he's fallen out with. What makes sense to me is the hypothetical situation that his missus will return with the brats if he's playing in a warm, dry spannish speaking country. A royal pain in the arse for city but not of Carlos's making.
The important thing for city fans is that Mancini hasn't pushed Tevez into this action. Tevez leaving in the summer I'm sure could have been done to the satisfaction of both sides but it looks likes Cook has read this wrong and responded in the wrong way!

Have to say, I am very gutted to hear this news. Moment I read the headlines last night, I felt like someone had taken a sledgehammer to my face.

The timing of this couldn't be crappier, but I am proud of the way our club has so quickly moved to stamp their authority on this matter. The club statement couldn't be clearer: no one is bigger than the club, and for that, I have the utmost respect for our club and our management.

Carlo's statement, on the other hand, was unconvincing at best. I still think he has a problem with Mancini, because nothing in the statement seems to add up.

I thank Carlos for what he's done for the club, and I am sad to see him leave. However, given that he lied to us in that interview on the club's site, there really is nothing else to be said about this situation. The quicker this issue is resolved, the quicker we move on and move up. CTID

Let him disappear to wherever he wants - but his registration is ours and we sell him on OUR terms not his.

It is SO important that we as a club decide how this turns out and not some poxy faced twat and his advisor.

Good riddance whether he is having his strings pulled or not - he hasnt an ounce of loyalty in him for anyone.

If we get this wrong we could end up as a Titanic

if you believe what's been posted on here, and the recent history of events this was engineered by the player's camp.

Do you seriously believe he was forced into leaving because his relationship with club executives had broken down? And if they ahd broken down, why would that be? because we hadn't offered the terms he claimed he didn't want. There are so many holes in Joorabchian's statements that I don't even think he is trying that hard. He must be deliberately trying to bring matters to a head, alienate everyone and get his player out of the club and a cut of some transfer. If he's trying to win a pr war, he's fighting the most stupid campaign in history and should go and work for the Liberal Democrats

Disappointed but not devastated by this whole affair. I actually think the whole media explosion could galvanise the rest of the squad.

The best result for City would be (I have excluded the option of him staying)

1. Achieve an acceptable market price from Madrid for him i.e. £35-45 Million.
2. Buy Dzeko
3. Include Benzema in the deal.
4. Develop a siege mentality, go on a big unbeaten run while quietly shouting f**K you to the rest of the footballing world.

i think mancini made tevez a better player so he must be worth at least 40-50 million, so who's gonna pay that, i cant see how this is going to end, nothing seems to add up. whats this about a mistress?
