Well if Carlos really wants to stay then offer him a 2 year extension with no get out clauses or transfer request clauses! Then we'll see how committed he is!

It is better for City to have him for 2 more years and let him go for free instead of taking 22 Mil for him now.

City gave Arsenal +20 Mil for Nasri with one year left in his contract, and every body knows that Tevez is much better player than him.
Depends on how much your boyfriend pissed the owner off I guess!! Maybe some might get their wish and we might be stunned by 4 from rvp, kun, balo and falcao?! Would that do blues??

Blah blah blah....

Not long to go...

Nasri and Tevez are to completely different players, and situations, so why are you comparing them TevezCity?

Love him or hate him but Carlos Tevez is a fooking great goalscorer..

i agree mate, and his work rate is second to none, its his attitude...he put a transfer request in the season before last, then last season, doesn't play for 6 months of a 10 month season, next season who knows..i cant see him changing,i say we bid him good luck and farewell..

HIs attitude is key. Mancini is in a much better place to judge.

For me personally I am in a win win situation, if he goes he will be replaced by (RVP is the current thinking) a great player. If he stays we retain a great player but with an unknown personal attitude.

True, but best possible scenario is Tevez stays and RVP goes abroad weakening the Arsenal

or tevez goes,RVP comes to city, still weakening arsenal......with or without RVP i dont see arsenal as a threat to us next season, think chelsea will be the biggest threat.

I can just about handle RVP in a City shirt. Not the worst of worlds is it. But after mancini's comments to the Italian media I think that's highly unlikely

Tolmie may well be passing on information he has heard, but the situation has changed: namely Balotelli's form at the Euros which was spectacular and Tevez's attitude looks good. Manager has to respond to events. And they have moved in the incumbents favour.

Also means we have more ammo for elsewhere. Anyway, spent more thane enough time on Bluemoon today.

Was this what you were refering to Marvin?
"Both Dzeko and Tevez will stay at City," Mancini told Sky Italia. "We are a great team and we try to keep all our great players. It won't be easy but they will stay here.

"We still lack a couple of players to reach [the level of] Real Madrid and Barcelona. Also our mentality has to grow season by season."
