Re: TEVEZ, please don't go!

isco and thiago would NOT make up for what tevez brings......nowhere near

tevez can win a game single handedly on his own out of nothing

cavani aguero and tevez in the squad would be amazing even if it is only for one year until his contract runs out......I would gladly sacrifice not getting say thiago or Isco for him staying

we are gettign rid of the dead wood finally (Bridge already gone, RSC likely) plus kolo and sinclair (in january when he recovers)....Get rid of Edin as well plus Garcia and that would easily make up the losses for tevez going on a free

HIs presence in the team, his goals, his work rate and attitude is worth more in tersm of success that the losses we would make by keeping him one more year. And what about extending his contract if he wants it...no one knows that he doesnt want it for a year more...he has seemed happier in the last 6-8 months that he has for a long time.

I would make every effort to keep tevez..players like him are one in a million

I like Tevez, but Players like Isco and Thiago aren't exactly commonplace either. The risk you take in keeping Tevez for another year (or two max) is missing out on players who may turn out to be equally amazing talents with a decade of success ahead of them, not just a couple more years.

Agree. Although it can be painful, sometimes you just have to let go.

would love to get 12-15 million for him. not the player he was two years ago, though he's still a great player. but if we can get 15 million we can get a replacement for the next 5+ years

12-15m? Madness he's worth at least 20m but we need to keep him he is quality and works his backside off.

Pellegrini likes him anyway so I think he'll stay.

The only deal I'd do with the dippers would be a swap for Suarez but neither player would want that so it's pointless. Suarez wants out of England and Tevez would want a decent club not one on it's arse.

he only got 1 year left on his contract hence the selling price will be lower.

Nasri who is not half as good as Tevez was sold for 24m when he has one year left on his contract !

price is only what someone is willing to pay we were willing to pay 24m for Nasri but we will only know the price of Tevez if we sell him

Just not economically worth it - he apparently gets a £6M bonus to see out his contract, he would be available on a free in a year, so for 1 year's use of Carlos we would pay £13M (estimated transfer fee we would lose) + £6M loyalty bonus + £13M wages for a year - say £30M for 1 year for someone who may well not be in the starting 11, sorry but as much as I love him no one is worth that much for 1 year

You're becoming the new Marvin on here

Tevez stiffed us longggg ago, had an 'ok' season last year but ultimately hampers the way Aguero plays, you'd rather keep him than see Isco and Thiago who are two of the biggest talents in european football? added to making aguero the player tevez could only dream of being>>>??? Tevez is shot and deserves no loyalty whatsoever from us!!!!
