isco and thiago would NOT make up for what tevez brings......nowhere near

tevez can win a game single handedly on his own out of nothing

cavani aguero and tevez in the squad would be amazing even if it is only for one year until his contract runs out......I would gladly sacrifice not getting say thiago or Isco for him staying

we are gettign rid of the dead wood finally (Bridge already gone, RSC likely) plus kolo and sinclair (in january when he recovers)....Get rid of Edin as well plus Garcia and that would easily make up the losses for tevez going on a free

HIs presence in the team, his goals, his work rate and attitude is worth more in tersm of success that the losses we would make by keeping him one more year. And what about extending his contract if he wants it...no one knows that he doesnt want it for a year more...he has seemed happier in the last 6-8 months that he has for a long time.

I would make every effort to keep tevez..players like him are one in a million

You're becoming the new Marvin on here

Tevez stiffed us longggg ago, had an 'ok' season last year but ultimately hampers the way Aguero plays, you'd rather keep him than see Isco and Thiago who are two of the biggest talents in european football? added to making aguero the player tevez could only dream of being>>>??? Tevez is shot and deserves no loyalty whatsoever from us!!!!

have you heard anything on tevez? lot of rumours but no real news on him.

A link on TuttoSport saying Paddy Power are reporting Tevez to be close to signing a 4 year deal with Juve.

Fukin hope so, mercenary number 1 out the door

And yet our best attacking player this season.

And why our attack has been so shit this season, perhaps?
It could be considered as a possible cause if your brain has been damaged, more enlightened observers will have realised the truth which is that our midfield was slow and predictable and our pace of attack was so slow that all our strikers had no room to work all season.

There's not many better than Tevez still.

How good he is is really irrelevant if he's not willing to sign a new contract. There's one year left, the obvious responsible move is to sell the player while that is still possible. Everyone waxing over what Tevez brings to the table are not incorrect, they're just focusing on the wrong thing. If you can't agree to terms, the right move is to move him on. He isn't irreplaceable and you use the money to the best of your abilities.

Looks like he's gone then.

The way this season is going, we'll get over it..... in about the time it takes to say 'Hello Isco' ...or ... 'Hey Thiago' ...or for those really struggling to come to terms with this ........ 'Welcome to Manchester City Mr. Manuel Pellegrini!!!!'

The point is what Tevez wants is irrelevant its what that odious snake Joorbachian wants which is important

He needs Tevez to move so that he can earn himself another load of cash and this will probably be the last time that Tevez will be able to command a big fee if he signed an extension there would be no signing on fee and in 2/3 years time he wouldn't command any sort of fee

The benefit to City is they get money from the sale and get a huge wage earner of the books

If it's that sure then we must have someone ready - surely we would not go into the season with just Dzeko and Aguero as proven strikers
