Carlos Tevez

Seems to me the whole question of which strikers we are going to go with next season is down to the manager, see the beginning of Dzeko thread. When we won the league that was because of Dzeko and Aguero with Tevez coming back with a flurry late on, so it could happen again. For me Isco is about as certain as you can get and with the addition of Navas and Fernandhino it begs the question can our strikers with new alternatives in midfield fire again enough to win it for the second time. I don't think such a decision will be made until Pellegrini is officially unveiled and it may be after 5th July when he has had time to see the players in training. By then the confed cup and under 21s are out of the way. So for me the striker conundrum is on the back burner.

I don't want Carlos to go but if the club decide to make the decision I will stand by it.

My only issue is this Milan agreement or something of the sort that came out this morning, it looks more likely that Higuain is off to Juve so it rules Tevez going there - I just hope Milan don't drag it out to transfer deadline day leaving us no time to get a replacement.

I don't think we will be left with a replacement, I think we have got Cavani lined up but needed somewhere for Tevez to go if Pellegrini doesn't want him, the same as Dzeko. There are only three options

Option 1

We go with the same three as last year maybe with Tevez signing new contract. If so don't need to buy another striker.

Option 2

Tevez stays but Dzeko leaves, suspect the club have ensured that he can go to Napoli or Germany either for cash or as part of Cavani deal.

Option 3

Dzeko stays but Tevez leaves Juventus were interested now Milan, note both have only agreements with the player, so again down to Pellegrini.

There is option 4

Sell both Tevez and Dzeko but that would mean buying two strikers and I think this is too much for one year.

Preferred Option

Sell Dezko replace with Cavani.

Milan ceo Galliani yesterday showed to journos a phone text from Tevez's agent sent at 9.11pm communicating their 'loyalty' to Milan

chief exec's showing journos private texts from agents wtf?!?

yet again italian clubs showing their class. absolute nightmare to deal with.

That slug will get even football agents a bad name - if that's possible.

disagree re fsavoured option Rammy - I think CT has to go, othwerwise he costs us £25M for one season, which frankly he is no longer worth, even if he ever was

Milan President Quote ....... Tevez will choose Milan over Juventus ...... we have an agreement, from Twitter

You forgot to add "and we will take him on loan with no intention to buy ".

Actually I am quiet OK with unchanged strike force TBH. I know Carlos is on high money and it makes sense given age etc and wages for him to leave but out of every player I have seen over last few years at the club the lad just gives 100% on the pitch irrespective of what happens off it, bit like Dzeko there is something inside me that says he will come good but you see that first touch and sometimes his attitude and you immediately go sell him, then he scores a wonder goal. But clinically sign cavani we move up a gear, and I could see we get into knockouts of CL and we won't be points adrift in prem league. It really is a no brainer.

Ohhh fuck it.

Just need 55 million quid to spend on one football player. Madness, but that is football today.

Or

----------------------------------Hart/(New GK)

Zabaleta/Richards__Kompany/(Noravetti)__Nastasic/(Lescott)__Clichy/(?)

--------------Y.Toure/Rodwell(Milner)___Fernandindo/(Barry)

------(Lamela/Navas___________Silva/Nasri___________Isco/Milner
--------------------------------Aguero/(Dzeko)

+ Gudetti as the 3rd choice striker.

That would be my choice, can't see anyone buying Kolarov so we may as well keep him, hopefully Garcia, Maicon ain't good enough, neither is Sinclair but we could make a profit if the like's of Everton or Southampton start a bidding war.

if we sell him then the club has no excuse to not pay the full buy-out clause to get cavani....we will have the 53M pounds from mario fee+wages and tevez fee+wages+6M bonus he takes if he finish the contract to us...sell tevez then cavani is a MUST

Galliani wants Tevez, yet doesn't want to sell us Shaarawy. It just reeks badly of him attempting to rip us off again. Won't be surprised if he gets Tevez for peanuts.

Ripped off again?
I was thinking that. He talks the talk, but all things considered we did well go get what we did for Robhino and ok for what we got for Mario.

He does annoy the fuck out of me, mind. He's like a sheepskin wearing used car salesman.

Waving a text around a room full of journos to prove you're mates with an agent. How fucking small-time can you get?

Nice one

Class player

Bidding war? Let's hope so...

Juventus have no reason to be upset if Milan approach Tevez, says Galliani

The Milan director is not impressed with the Serie A champions' supposed discontent and has stressed they will open talks with the striker whenever they want to

AC Milan will not let Juventus' alleged interest in Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez get in the way of a potential bid for the Argentine, says Adriano Galliani.

The Milan CEO suggested earlier this week the San Siro side could rival the Turin giants for the 29-year-old's signature - who, as exclusively revealed by Goal, in also being chased by Liverpool - allegedly angering the Juventus chiefs with his comments.

However, Galliani has made it clear Milan do not feel any obligation towards Juve to stay away from Tevez.

"I have not heard anything from Juventus and I don't know why they would have any reason to be upset," Galliani told reporters.

"I have not talked to Tevez, but I might do so in the future. Either way, we are not doing anything illegal by talking to the player.

"We have not opened talks with City at the moment, but they know that we have been their best customers in recent years. We took Robinho, Nigel de Jong and Mario Balotelli from them."

Tevez has a contract with City until 2014, but he is keen to leave the club this summer.

Worst clubs on the planet to deal with and it seems we are dealing with them both at the same time regarding selling and buying, if Cheeky pulls this off signing Messi next summer will seem like childs play. :-)

Tevez seems to have disappeared from the Seasoncard renewal advert on the home page of the OS

All that remains is his shadow !!
