Emily on big brother used the 'N' word and got booted out.
Darnell and Coolio use it and they remain in the house, people are lenient towards black people using them words as its considered part of their culture.
Wtf one rule for one person and one rule for the other. I know this has fuck all to do with the Carol Thatcher remark but I just thought i'd point something out that i've never quite understood.
The mass stupidity on this particular subject, has to be read, to be believed/ disbelieved!!
go on
FFS, if a person not of the race uses a term deemed OFEENSIVE and RACIAL, it has to be deemed as such. If a person of the race that the word is associated with, uses the same word, how can it be deemed offensive as he is demeaning himself as well as others? the others, in this case may well have umbrage with the comment and that person will have to deal with that.
How can you cross the boundaries of racial slurring and find it acceptable? Would you walk into a club in Mosside or in Hackney, etc. and find it ok to be called "Whitey/ honky/ Cracker/ whatever"??
And by the way, note that there are not THAT many slur words for Caucasians!!
Okay so for example, you think if a black person called me a white boy they'd get in as much shit as we would for using the 'N' word?
