CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Is there anything in the CAS judgement which could open us up to punishment from the PL? Or does the fact that the CAS release say that City "did not disguise equity funding as state contributions" mean we're in the clear?

Thing with the premier rules is who runs the premier and who has people in key areas to push what narrative they want.

I’d have thought so. CAS didn’t say City had done it but regrettably it’s time-barred. They said City didn’t do it - that said, we’ll have to wait for the full written judgement

I’m as pleased as shit with the outcome. But let’s not forget a big reason is that the clock ran down on some offences so the club has to learn from and avoid those mistakes.

EDITED to add. I think the whole FFP was a Pulling The Ladder Up exercise by Old Money and should be abolished.

Bring it on.

Think it would end up at CAS myself if it's based on anything related to the case just upheld.

I seem to remember from my Gorton days that the saying originates from leaving a curry house without paying. (but i could be wrong!)
The discussion would be "are we doing a runner?", ie a disappearing act.
The signal would then be "Do one!"
This then transformed into a saying (when you wanting somebody to leave/go/disappear), you would say "do one mate".

Trouble is i never had the balls to do a runner. So i always ended up paying the whole bill!
Every fibre of my being didn’t have the balls to run. The state of my bank balance used to overcome this primal fear though.

Have to wait for the full case to be released but I think pretty much everyone is saying its unlikely. The PL have enough to do without wanting to take one of the biggest stakeholders in the league to court.

I did one many years ago and did not know that I had done it until next day at our Sunday League game when one of my mates told me that owner was looking for me.....I was that pissed I didnt remember getting up and just walking out ....Went back that afternoon and paid him with my last fiver (yes it was a while ago)....then got a sub off him so I could go out that night....happy days

Our detractors will be desperately going through the award praying that it states that we would have been found guilty if there was no time ban.

I will enjoy the piss boiling though.
