CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

I thought it was more that both parties had to agree to its NOT being released? So if only one side wants to keep it under wraps it gets published anyway? Though possibly with redactions as mentioned above.
Pretty sure I read that both sides agreed it would be made public before the hearing, unless I'm getting it mixed up.

I agree Marvin.
CAS overall verdict is that by UEFA own rules we were incorrectly found to be guilty of the main charge.
By all means argue about bits of things but finding us guilty was a bad interpretation of their own rules.

As I read the saga as it unfolded, Uefa were adding and generally making the rules fit a certain scenario, egged on by the placemen/women(?) from various clubs, added to by nigh on half the PL.

But you can't escape the overall summary, and hence we can for the first time in years throw the allegations back in their face.

I was not sure CAS would redeem us, but redeem us they did. I have even seen some journalists who have been against us for years, change their tune and acknowledge the verdict, so the ground has shifted somewhat. It's now very very easy to combat Liverpool fan allegations if you so wish.
That's good to hear Marvin, I must say I haven't noticed it myself but I am glad it's happening. It would be nice to see a groundswell of positive opinion.

"combat Liverpool fans allegations"? ..... surely that will be an unecessary action now?. Once those fair minded, chirpy little Scousers read Shaelumstash's fantastically detailed, exhaustive rebuttal it'll be all over RAWK in an instant. They'll read it, assimilate the content, reach a fair and balanced conclusion that, as the club have insisted throughout, we are innocent of the allegations. Having arrived at said conclusion they'll issue a sincere and heartfelt apology for their errors and, in all probability light several candles in our honour.
Then blame the Chelsea fans.

The detail may very well be as you say but I feel it is likely to be blocked from publication. In which case my point is that UEFA were unable to make their guilty verdict stand up in a legal rather than kangaroo court.
However, if the "hateful 8" letters were actually sent it may in deed have been seen as interference in their role and may have given proof of the vendetta against us in their independent court.

Ah, right I see. Yeah makes sense

Sadly, I think there will be bits in the full report for the usual suspects in the media to desperately cling on to and the attacks will continue.

Even if the CAS report were to state “There was fuck all substance to any of the charges which were emphatically debunked by Manchester City’s irrefutable evidence and therefore UEFA came to an utterly bent decision when issuing such an outrageous punishment” the attacks would still continue so I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
